maker education curriculum city of the future

Developing soft and technical skills is essential for kids to become successful in the future. To achieve this goal, we have created this curriculum set in the city of the future ready to be used for teaching in makerspaces.

Kids are given an opportunity to imagine and design the city of the future they would like to live in. The city changes constantly as they get introduced to new technologies and learn to act as a team. The course introduces them to urban development concepts like governance and sustainability. They have to come up with solutions by creating a scaled down model with laser cutting, 3D printing and programmable microcontrollers. While building the city they are seeking answers for the challenges of the future they will soon experience.

We offer a perpetual license for each makerspace, but project pricing is also available. Contact us for details!
